Yenda: 16km east of Griffith in the Riverina district of NSW is the little town of Yenda. The township has a population of around 1,000 people. Yenda is well covered by vineyards, which produce close to 70% of NSW wines. Other crops include rice, stone and citrus fruits, and vegetables. Yenda is at the edge of the Cocoparra National Park and Nature Reserve.

The Yenda Golf Club is found on Twigg Road in Yenda. Yenda Golf Course currently has 12 holes and all grass greens. The course is open throughout the year. Competition days are Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.
Saturday: An afternoon 9 hole competition tee off at 2pm.
Sunday: Tee off normally 7.30 during DST and around 8.00am during the winter months.
Tuesday: The Yenda Vets take to the course, teeing off between 8.30 and 9.00am.
Visitors are always welcome and Green Fees are just $10.00
Course: 9 holes, Par 72, 6012 metres.
The Yenda Open is in August.

Accommodation and restaurant are available at the Yenda Hotel, which has motel as well as pub style rooms and offers wine tasting tours of some of the local wineries.
