Binnaway is a small town on the Castlereagh River in Central NSW, 35km from Coonabarabran, in the Warrumbungle Shire. Population about 500 people. Binnaway was a major railway town and wheat receiving area. Today the Binnaway Rail Heritage Barracks provide excellent accommodation facilities. There is also the Pumphouse Caravan Park.

Visit the Binnaway Golf Club to have a relaxing game of golf, or just have a cold drink at the bar and enjoy it's full bar facilities. The bar is open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each week. Including public holidays. On Sunday the meat raffles and members draw are held.
